Re: [Sun] 07 June (Will it float?)

Based on a very short CO's standpoint, the new orbat makes squads a bit easier to manage. What I did notice what there were two automatic riflemen in our sections, which I consider a bit too much :p . May I suggest replacing one of the automatic riflemen with a "marksman" slot, a soldier who is equi...

There was a small squad of enemies inside RA-1, which we did not account for.

Re: [Sun] 22 Mar 2015 (I saw a rainbow)

"What are the rules of engagement?", a comrade asked. I must admit that my mind was recollecting a story about how the Rules of Engagement were a set of ancient tomes long since lost in Takistan, before I realized (after a full three seconds) that that question no longer was a folk injoke and that I...

Re: [Sun] 22 Mar 2015 (I saw a rainbow)

I am what you could call a grizzled veteran. My ursine ways have been known amongst those of Folk ARPS since 2009, back when ARPS actually was a thing and Folk was still a semi-obscure group... Eventually those two groups started to play together more and more untill they gradually and formally merg...

Re: Experiences with the new fatigue system.

From my limited first understanding, the system seems very much influenced by how much equipment one carries onto the battlefield.

We may be carrying far too much equipment into the battlefield.

THe chute was not the problem It was jumping straight ontop the enemy forces which was. Jolly Cooperation - This mission is... rather hard from a command perspective, for this reason: Friendly ME < > DRAAKON :argh: Opponent | Squads Two lines of communication to the enemy CO, one of which may know w...

Good news everybody!

Men Of War: Assault Squad 2 has been released. I know the original was a huge hit amongst the ARPS guys. Any interest nowadays?

Re: [Tue] 06 May 2014 (Our Little Secret)

Right around when Bravo decides to move in on the airfield control tower, with Alpha on the right flank, my game client begins to freeze for several seconds from time to time during the rest of my part of the mission. Wonderful.
This occured to me as well - server side issue?

Re: Wargame: Red Dragon

Gameplay wise: IT's a more refined ALB. The decks have changed a bit, now being a mixture of EE and ALB (hard caps on unit types along with the point-buy system, but the hard caps can be relaxed by specializing). The amount of national decks has greatly increased, with the inclusion of "coalition de...

Re: [Tue] 06 May 2014 (Our Little Secret)

Thorn: Bravo 2 AAR? Getting up the hill was easy, spotting enemies from the hill too. Relaying those enemies was rather hard (I am still baffled by that I could see one guy (whom I later shot) and the rest of the fireteam could not, but luckily he was dead before Alpha walked into his view. Then we ...
