Re: [Tue] 05 Jan 2016 (Helicopter jousting is hard...)

I just realized that the engine function I used to find an empty spot to put the cache when removing it from a vehicle doesn't take moving vehicles into account. Thus the first two times everything went fine because your vehicle was stationary, then you started moving and voila, we have liftoff.

Re: fa3_cz43_pickup_artists

Oh jeez, I'll have to take another look at the scripts. I think someone put the cache into your IFV, then when you tried to take it out it somehow decided that inside your IFV was a valid place to put the cache, and hilarity ensued. Oops.

The boxes were not intended to be destructable, but the vehicles they would be contained in were. The antags were supposed to continuously spawn infantry for themselves to control, but I heard that they stopped after their first.

Re: [Tue] 05 Jan 2016 (Helicopter jousting is hard...)

I just posted the review thread for Pickup Artists.
I'm curious as to how it went and if antagonists were used or not, it was intended for a larger player count.

fa3_cz43_pickup_artists

Sadly I missed the first play through of this. It was intended for a larger player count than 19, but I'm still interested in hearing how it went.

I learned that forest battles are a lot more fun if everyone has all tracer rounds.

Re: [Sun] 13 Dec 2015 (Fun with HMGs)

Not the best session for me until the last two missions, those were great. Mailmain (Extended) AR in A1 After our flight to the LZ we started taking small arms fire on landing. I got out, found the attackers and began returning fire before any commands came from anywhere. After putting about 40 roun...

Re: fa3_c69_chain_lightning

I found the camps to be underpopulated. Also a couple of wrecked cars + 2 working ones does't really make much of a "camp". I think we flew over one that I didn't mark because I couldn't actually see any enemies.

Was I really supposed to get a starter pistol?

Re: Can mission makers use DLC content?

Correct, with the special exception that if a helicopter is landed then it might explode when you pre-mount the crew.
You'll notice we tend to start outside helicopters, while with other vehicles we start inside.
