Re: [Sun] 06 Dec 2015 (...BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP...)

It was A GLORIOUS EVENING IN THE PARTY COMRADES! Because every evening is a glorious evening in the party, don't you agree? This evening however, started off with some members of the Party getting in some early training in slingloading cargo using the larger Mohawk helos, while other members of the ...

Re: fa3_c69_chain_lightning

You could spawn in the air with the special options set to "nothing" but you would have to be very, very cruel and hidden from Comrade Fer very, very, very well.

Re: fa3_c69_chain_lightning

Not sure the Mohawk is a fantastic choice for the helo if the mission goes down that route; the Taru transport would be very useful as it's remarkably agile for its size, but the Mohawk or worse the Huron in that terrain for any kind of fast reaction is just asking for trouble of the on-fire-and-rol...

Re: fa3_c52_uprising

A civilian start is interesting, but I think it'd be a lot of work to make it not feel too gamey. Like, on one hand it doesn't really make sense that the AAF wouldn't be suspicious of twenty "civilians" in tac vests and balaclavas hovering fifty meters away from them. On the other hand, opening fir...

Re: fa3_c52_uprising

This went surprisingly well actually, but I think the weapons-in-one-cache-and-ammunition-in-the-other idea should go die somewhere quietly. The addaction way of doing this for the Weekend Warriors mission would work pretty well. The final assualt on the base - day-um. That was something new. The AI...

Re: fa3_c50_counter_espionage

Unfortunate incident aside, this rocked. The slingloading theft under fire idea looked awesome. I'd ask for more helos just to get in on the action on the days I'm not fast enough on the clickfest :D In fact, I think we just proved that slingloading is within the capabilities of FA pilots and we oug...

Re: fa3_c69_chain_lightning

Flying was a ton of fun, but the lack of much flat terrain made for that special kind of fun that you normals call "work". Oh, and you need to put a repair truck and a fuel truck back at the main base, for cases where bad landings leave you able to fly, but with only half a tailrotor, the helo beat ...
