Re: [Tue] 14 Jul (Beach BBQ)

So just before we hit the beach in landing, I made a joking reference to saving private ryan to my fireteam. 30 seconds later, 4 of them were obliterated by mortar fire, and I was shot dead. The IFV was then perforated by AAA fire and 3 marshalls rolled in from the west. The violence was so overwhel...

Re: [Sun] 12 Jul 2015 (Ghost Hawk Down, Sunny Side Up)

I learnt that mortars are powerful, and can reduce an enemy force to 30% in short order. I also learnt that audiox has no care for human life, and that next time he orders me to run across a square I *know* is being watched by a 50 cal I should throw down my weapon and run to the hills to live in pe...

Re: [Sun] 05 Jul 2015 (The ducklings have safely passed)

Sparks, I have never run over any body in a vehicle. Not friendly or in a proper mission, any way. I promise! Now, for some fine reporting. Buzzard A1 rifleman under Eagle_Eye I do enjoy this mission. As before, we snuck along the beach before moving up to the warehouse on the close side of the airf...

Re: [Sun] 05 Jul 2015 (The ducklings have safely passed)

Not once had I ever seen the real need for a Deputy Commander. Until the one mission I replaced the deputy commander with 4 attachments. Might have to re-add him to buzzard! Can I ask what we missed in Katalaki? Alpha had a rough time from 2xtechnicals as soon as we entered the town, so we got a bi...

You know, I didn't, but maybe I should've. Then there could be two wilsons and you'd never know the difference
