So I was messing around with ARES the other day, and the compositions they have (prebuilt bases/checkpoints etc) are amazing. Everything gets placed nicely, and I think even just one of the big bases and a garrison of enemies would make for a great sweep and clear mission.
What I am wondering is, is there a nice way of getting theses objects into the F3 mission template short of making two mission.sqm files and manually merging them and changing the id numbers of one of the item sets. Furthermore, is there an easy way of getting the compositions saved as a mission.sqm? ( I think i saw a save function in the ARES modules, but I didnt get a chance to check how it worked)

Check the useful tools & addons thread for a zeus-to-sqm export script. You can then save the export in a blank mission.sqm and use the in-editor "merge" function to merge it into the mission you're working on.
