Cloudline
FIA CO
To be honest, even being pre-warned about the fog... only being able to see the ground propperly when crouching is a bit panic-inducting. However teleporting to what felt like mount everest (with less snow) just above the cloud layer in bright moonlight was sure a sight to behold.
Fighting uphill with inferior equipment however was as well. A swift attack where both Squadleaders led their men to success... i hope the Party is pleased with this performance.
Hilltop
NATO A2 FTL
Upon spawning i realized "Oh, soooo many rocks here, this'll be easy to defend!" just to realize a moment later "Uhmm... how are we supposed to keep teese many angles covered? Not to mention doing so while being pinned by snipers?" But then i saw the crates... CURSE YOU, SHINY GEAR SYNDROM!
But yeah, got myself a PCML to take out 2 HMG Ifrits in the north, then tried to hunker down and spot a bit for my AR, comrade AJAX, but we were not very successfull.
Things escalated quickly, and as quick i got passed up the chain. Nato lost about half their forces when i took command, i gathered the remains and retreated east. Another 2 Nato bodies later i found myself back-to-back with AJAX and another comrade, whose name i cant recall, to my utter shame. We hid behind a rock, picked off some CSAT and AAF warriors being bold enough to charge our last line of defence, waiting faithfull for FIA rescue squad...
That rescue squad came, consisting of the brave comrades Fer and (i believe) Head. What a force to behold!
After joining up with Fer, who dodged bullets like NEO when sprinting over that beach, we deployed smoke, pretended it was totally bulletproof, and sprinted to the defense lines of the FIA.
Allong this way, bullets impacted all around me, taking away comrade by comrade... i've seen my life flashing before my eyes, when i saw the muzzle flash of a sniper on the very hill that was once a Nato FOB... i witnessed the vapor trail of this bullet with my name on it... and i'll never forget the face of comrade Fer, pushing himself into its path and with that, me out of my asured doom...
Comrade...
Your sacrifice...
was totaly in vain, cuz me and the 2 remaining FIAs couldn't drive for shit and crashed and burned on the way home, 20m from where FIA Bravo squads proof of similar driving skills will allways be remembered in my stories, witch i totally can tell evrywhere, cuz i totally survived, and the Party totally didn't made this up, cuz why should they lie to the public, i mean come on!
Die Rebel Scum
AAF B2 FTL
We were so eager to see Alpha geting into that minefield... but were disappointed when nothing happened.
The FIA and Nato have shown litte resistance to our glorious superior tactics.
A FUCKIN' TANK, BABY!
Crateresistance
AAF A1 FTL
I liked our initial plan and locations... just to see them overthrown by disconnects and spontaneous combustions on both sides.
Second attempt went much smoother. Got off the truck and suddenly couldn't decide wether to follow the plan or reinforce and attack. CO decided for the latter, but we had a lot of ground to cover. After arriving and catching breath, the remains of my FT charged a hill shack under some realy effective suppressing fire. So effective that i didnt had anything to do there anymore.
Blip on the UAV then guided me to an enemy position, and since these were occupied with the fire of the other FTs, A1 took them out no problem (tho i wasted quite a few mags, i believe)
VICTORY!
