After seeing the result of missions 1 and 3 I can conclude that the #1 indicator if a coop plan is going to succeed is how many hills we have to deal with. Even if we are ontop of the hill and they are attacking there is something about the Arma 3 AI which gives them a huge advantage when dealing with hills.

It's probably the grass.

A fun evening, if an embarressing one...

Uneasy Partners
Toddler bedtimes need to be earlier. Missed this one, joined near the end, then was ambushed by a rowdy toddler debate about bedtime and an open mic in teamspeak.
/sigh
At least it entertained the fallen comrades...

Cordon Blu
Was quite looking forward to this, it sounded like an interesting setup.
Then I blew myself up with a grenade less than twenty seconds into the mission while trying to check my inventory.
:siiigh:

I will point out however, that that wasn't the dumbest thing done on that mission. I mean, an accidental keypress is an accidental keypress and at least I just killed myself. Lighting up an entire friendly squad because one of them dropped their torch on the other hand... :P

Keeping The Peace
This was fun, but hugely confusing Ted. Sure, we were being shot at, but the real enemy was the radio. Propaganda, comrades, is the true enemy.

Seriously, half the time I either couldn't transmit on VON (but teamspeak was fine), or I couldn't make out what people were saying because their audio was all bass and muffled, or I had three or four people talking at once and I couldn't get a picture for what was going on. That Ifrit could have driven over me before I'd have known it was there from the radio comms.

Still though, it was better than a GP40 to the face. As I proved a few minutes later, using a GP40 and my face.

Serious props to Ajax btw, none of the fallen comrades thought he had that landing till he stuck it.

And I loved how, as the comrades retreated in disgrace, the pilot kept the landing ramp down for any comrade who wanted to do the honourable thing and save the commissar a bullet...

Salt Riders (afterparty)

I am the hero.
Well, obviously.
Chairdance.

And surprisingly, the recording worked as well (well, the audio is still grabbing from a hot mic rather than doing it properly, but it more or less worked...):
