[Sun] 04 June (Convoy Chaos)

Post by audiox »

A nice 24 of us got to enjoy something new, something old, something deadly, something even more deadly, and then something silly.

We played :
  • No Quarter
  • Compound Interest
  • A Town Divided
  • Acquisition Vatukoulo
  • Red Tigers II
  • Assault On Georgetown
  • Salt Riders
As always, comments are most welcome below. Also, if you have a nice story be sure to tell it. Videos are always much appreciated, and will be appropriated by our propaganda departement if you tell us about them.

Check out the replays here. The Party sees everything, comrade. :cop: http://server.folkarps.com/r3/

If you think commanding seems like fun, yet hesitate because you worry that you won't come up with a reasonable plan on such short notice, then check out our leadership programme.

Did you notice that some vehicles/players had way cool FA Tractors on them tonight? That's because of the power of our squad tags. Get yours whilst stocks last.

No Quarter
Why did we bring an LSV to a house clearing op, anyway?

Compound Interest
Bravo got annihilated just in time for the mission to be declared a success. I'm still not entirely sure how we won, given that we were under heavy fire at the moment of Success.

A Town Divided
The enemy casually strolled into the middle of our positions, then shot us. Mostly because I didn't know what they were supposed to be wearing.

Acquisition Vatukoulu
We successfully engaged a NATO convoy. We did not successfully defeat it.

Red Tigers II
A1 spent the entire mission out of position with regards to the enemy, A2, and itself. Then died in a jungle while A2 completed our objective.

Assault on Georgetown
???
FA missions & session host. Tank appreciater.

No Quarter
A nice mission with in retrospect a bit too few AI. (Hosts fault.) Felt it moved about pretty nicely for having to always pick up the LSV's to go to the next objective.

Compound Interest
A nice mission for spotting and movement. The terrain is decent and the objectives we need to take aren't horribly overpowered, but requires proper overwatch to not get killed by.
Forgot about the end trigger being a bit jumpy though.....

A Town Divided
Arma Pro Tips #38 : Always look around you at mission start so you know what your team is wearing.

Acquisition Vatukoulu
Well we blew up the armed LSV's, unfortunately all the other people were also armed. :suicide:

Red Tigers II
It was nice to be in a part of Tanoa that isn't all jungle all the time. The plantation area had plenty of visibility challenge, but not as extreme as dense jungle.

Assault On Georgetown
123, HMG. Dear goodness that approach was brutal. Maybe if we had moved back immediately and then moved north or something, but as it was we just kept trying to crest and died one by one.
