[Tue] 19 Dec 2017 (Tank Wars: The Last Mortar)

A short time in the future on a planet very, very close at hand...

15 brave comrades fought across the islands of Altis and Malden; teaching their rivals a lesson as the Malden Mafia; 'successfully' defending the town of Kore as the AAF; charging headlong at each other to capture a random location on Altis; entering with 6 tanks and leaving with none; sending a cry for help to NATO, who arrived just in time to save the two survivors; running up a beach on Malden with the sound of miniguns, GMGs, and mortars spurring them on.

Missions: Be sure to check out the R3 Mission Replay System where all of tonights missions have been faithfully recorded, and can be relived over-and-over again for years to come.

Also leave any feedback for our wonderful mission makers in the appropriate forum thread, or #mission_feedback on DIscord.

Notice some people had fancy Folk ARPS badges on their arms and vehicles. Get yours today! Also talk to a host today to get one on TS as well!

Made Men
They say the best defense is a good offense. Apparently this also applies when you're driving an unarmed car through the field of fire of a .50 cal.

Kore Principles
In retrospect, trying to do a fixed-wing gun run in a rotary-wing aircraft may not have been the smartest call.

Skirmish Altis
The best part of this mission was watching my fireteam walk one by one along the same path into the enemy's kill zone and die.

Shield and Sword
Let this be a lesson to you - never trust the robots to repair your tank when you need it. And never trust them to not run you over when you step out.

Rebel Rebel
Stonie and charlie's courageous stand will be remembered. The people who soaked up all the mortar rounds so those two could live...less so.

Take a Mile
Despite defeating the entire cast of Star Wars Episode VIII, we were all killed trying to crest a ridgeline a hundred metres from the objective.

Kore Principles
I had quite some fun @23:50 with an AR I picked up.

Shield and Sword
Quite an atmospheric mission with all the tanks and stuff. Also it's a really bad idea to retreat in an enemy vehicle that moves at about 4km/h.

Rebel Rebel
Charlie and I had no idea how to extract, but we somehow managed to do it in the end. :science101:
