Re: [Sun] 13 September 2020 (The building is alive!)

Hello there! I haven't really played or made an AAR post since 2017. It's good to be back! Aventure au Soleil [Co-op] : Scout Heli Pilot I must say I was looking forward to some action on the ground for my first time back, but that heli pilot slot took so long to slot that I just decided to grab it...

Re: [Sun] 2 July 2017 (An Unlikely Auto-rotation)

Hi all, I came back for yet another session and indeed what a session it was. Ghostbusters ASL (Or was it BSL?) Fantastic mission. Our squad set up across the valley from the objective, then proceeded by vehicle to the hill close to the objective. We did some bounding on the hill, exchanged fire wit...

Re: [TUE] 27 June 2017 (Return to Malden)

Well folks, it was good to be back after so long! It felt kinda like a weird dream though, in the past I typically take command and kill everyone, but this session I actually contributed something to the party success! I even led the (long) charge of BLUFOR to victory in Skirmish Stratis after DarkA...

Re: [Sun] 18 September (That didn't go as planned)

From what I remember it was with none of the squad and none of the survivors? :p People kept hopping in and out while we were stationary. I didn't see that I left anyone behind in my mirrors but all that means is that I probably left everyone behind. One guy with an AR ;) I was in the drivers seat ...

Re: [Sun] 18 September (That didn't go as planned)

Well, today was fun. Some would say too fun. Corporate Synergy (B2 Demolitionist) Started off with technical issues and wondering where my fireteam was due to lack of a GPS or STHud. All too quickly we heard what we thought was a misfire in the distance. Then another. Then nope, someone set off the ...

Re: [Sun] 15 May 2016 (First time please be gentle)

Holy shit, #5 is now my new desktop background. (Sorry Ajax, didn't see you there. If I had landed on you, I think it would be the only day in FA history where someone was meat pancaked by a helicopter AND a jet.) Video will take a bit longer to process as I recorded it in an inconvenient format to ...

Re: Ralian's headtracker build

I understand how large a markup it is, but what I'm really paying for is the shipping. Notice that all those products are eligible for amazon prime, and also that I'm just a lazy bastard who would rather not wait for mail for two weeks for freely shipped goods, or pay an extra $15 for two day shippi...

Ralian's headtracker build

Around two months ago, I decided to build an optical head tracker for facetracknoir, just to test the waters with head tracking. It worked pretty well under conditions you would expect an optical one to (that is when there are no other light sources in the room), and I got pretty used to it. As such...
