Re: A3 Launcher
Nice one!
Will try this later on.
I'm sure this will be invaluable once we switch to A3 for FA sessions!

Poctalon: Gunner on INDFOR IFV2 - Callsign "T2" We were delayed getting to a first map marker as comrade Bandzai was having an attack of the ARMA Gremlins and took a while to load in Nothing happening at out first mark and the radio chatter doesn't inspire much hope as it's going very quiet, very q...

Re: Early Graphics Setting Experiments.
All the settings without the waffle.. This gives 40-45FPS in very mixed trees/shrubs/buildings on my PC. Switch things off/down in the order below to increase frame rates: Disable AA > Disable Post Processing > Reduce Texture/Object/Terrain Quality > Overall/Object Visibility Specs: i5 2500K OC'd to...

Is a Politburo member going to organise this? I fear that some will get multiple keys and some will get none if left to the masses..

Stable Alpha Or Dev Branch Builds For FA A3 Sessions?
Comrades, what is the Party line on our Saturday evening A3 FA adhoc / mission test sessions with regards to running the Stable Alpha or Dev Branch builds?
Joining FA A2 sessions running OA Beta is considered anti-revolutionary and repeat offenders can look forward to a 'relaxing holiday'...

Regarding Crash Site Part Deux, I didn't see the C130 either, but I think it renders very briefly as you pan right at 7:30-7:36 in that last video. Having survived a very shakey landing of Rapist Air flight 069 to the LZ and almost being killed instantly by the door gunner on the BLUFOR heli, I was ...

Early Graphics Setting Experiments.
Being a notorious adjuster of settings, I spent a couple of happy hours playing with the graphics in A3. Before going any further, I found SideStrafe's YouTube guide invaluable and provides not only a very sensible way of testing, but also a good set of starting values. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=...

Re: What is your favorite new feature/fix in ARMA 3?
It does look lovely compared to A2 and OA, but the movement system/stances are the big step forward for me as you can actually use cover properly now. While BIS are getting some stick for A3 not being particularly optimised at the moment, I'm actually finding I'm getting decent frame rates without m...
