Re: fa3_c41_hornets_nest
The Spawn AI module. It lets you spawn a constant stream of AI, and if you use the "Sector Tactic" module, they all move to control sectors not owned by their sides. So I had thought, if the mission was too easy, I'd have reinforcements drive in from the northern town, who would attempt to regain c...

Re: fa3_c41_hornets_nest
A nice, tight corridor mission with enough enemies to keep things interesting, but not so many that it turns into a slog. The terrain is nice too, with two key vantage points (the starting ridge and the radar station) and one secondary vantage point (the equal-height summit to the west of the radar ...

Re: [Guide] Using ws_fnc_createGarrison
Changing blufor to FIA doesn't seem to have any effect, and still spawns NATO units. Something has gone wrong if you cannot spawn FIA units by changing "case west: {_classes = _garrisonNATO};" to "case west: {_classes = _garrisonFIA};" - in the meantime, your instructions are going to confuse the c...

Re: fa3_cz64_good_morning_astan
I really fucking wish there was an armored 7-man light armed vehicle. It would make logistics a lot easier... one vehicle per squad is far too few to be interesting, three per squad is far too complicated. What you're thinking of is either the CSAT Marid or the NATO Panther . There is no AAF equiva...

Re: Sandstorming
Fer- the sandstorms only take 1 rpg round to kill, so RAT plus MAT should be able to take them on. Are you sure about that? Sandstorms are based off the Merkava-chassis just like the Panther / Cheetah, and that chassis takes a serious beating to put down. I can't test right now, but make sure that ...

Re: fa3_cz64_good_morning_astan
My opposition to Hunters in this particular case is informed by the major weakness of this mission being logistics. This is my "Never again" attitude after I created a logistics nightmare in A2's "Running Rabbit". List out the transport modes we saw on Sunday: Alpha: Starts in 2x Speedboats , become...

Re: fa3_cz64_good_morning_astan
There are a couple things I'd recommend, with the caveat that this was a great outing for a first-ever mission. We've got some best-practices around here that veteran mission-makers mostly follow on autopilot, stuff that tends to make things run a little smoother for everyone involved. Beyond that, ...
