Re: [HoI3] Some say, we like fighting eachother.

No, it's a good decision from AI point of view. The puppet China can support troops on the landmass better then a Japan, because of bad infrastructure and shipping (and whatnot) is a bit of a problem as well. Plus, 50% of surplus resources (more then when annexed) get handed over to Japan at free di...

Yeah, I was gonna be Germany, but my PC decided to break down on the last minute. Oh well, I hope I really can get new parts before Wednesday, I will be coming back, but if not, someone has to jump to Germany.

Usually for me on chernarus with such seemingly large scale missions, I had a stable FPS around 15-25. For comparison, Redsnow has really low FPS for me, below 15.

Re: [Tue] 26 Feb 2013 (It was Tuesday)

Why did the Delta recon mission go FUBAR? Because the enemy spawning script didn't work in our favor. Once I (being at the head of everyone else) reached the area where R1 marker was, I took out my binos to scan the area. I didn't see nothing. Not in the airfield, not in the same small village we w...

Re: Hot LZs & well-trained VCs: Helos, RPGs & doorguns

Ok then when the Chinook flies over guns blazing and you lose without even getting a shot at, that also needs to be "part of the game." You where outmaneuvered by a bullet. At least the door gunner had fun though right? How to stop a bullet? You stay behind cover. How to not get shot at? You stay h...

Re: Hot LZs & well-trained VCs: Helos, RPGs & doorguns

I don't know where exactly they landed but I'd bet (and it was said) the Ins was only there via gaming, ie "This is where they always land, so send some dudes out there." Gaming to find the LZ then claiming "Well it's a real life threat, if you don't want it blown up don't land there" is a bit ridi...

Re: Hot LZs & well-trained VCs: Helos, RPGs & doorguns

- Only host imposed rule I can think is warranted is "Don't fire RPGs at landing choppers" Yet they can use their special weapons against us in this case? People still have RPG's because it's the standard load-out for FA. Which use AT ammo, not that very effective against a group of people. And let...

Re: Hot LZs & well-trained VCs: Helos, RPGs & doorguns

In future missions, I recommend the mision makers make use of the full potential of the sandbox game we play: less-armed choppers (Hueys, KnightHawks, Mi-8), reduced ammo on the turrets (a hundred rounds on each minigun doesn't make the chinook so much of a flying tank), unarmed troop transporters ...
