Star Citizen

Post by Phoenix49 »

Just wondered, since it is meant to be a massive-scale sim game, is anyone planning on playing Star Citizen?

I'm really looking forward to it, and wanted to see whether there is general interest in the game!

I'm already a backer of Star Citizen, and the Hangar Module that just came out already looks pretty good. I can't say I've been following Star Citizen too much, except the occasional interesting article that pops up in my email folder, but they're on a pretty good track. 18 million dollars, and hopefully the dogfighting module will be out soon. As for the game itself, I seriously like the concept of having players influence things (just like in EVE), but at the same time it's just not the same size as EVE. The fact that they will have smaller "sessions" running for missions instead of having this huge, open world server, is certainly a good thing, as it'll allow for some fun whilst also guaranteeing that no other players randomly chip in and screw things up. All in all, I'm looking forward to it.
