V+ Mod Pack Update

Post by dancemoox »

Comrades its happening!

The new version of the mod pack is going live today and the server is being updated also. This means to play at the next V+ session you will need to update to the new pack.

Download instruction pages have been updated:

Six Updater
Manually

You can also add the new repo to Play withSix using this line:

Code: Select all

pws://server.folkarps.com:85/repo/vanillaplus.yml
Be sure to follow the ACRE instructions from the manual thread if you are setting up the pack for the first time.

As part of the new pack launch I'd like to announce V+ will be trying a test Saturday session this coming week (5/4/13). This will be a replacement for the regular Friday session.

This is to allow our North American Comrades to join us so if you are interested in giving V+ a go you should. Should numbers be better we may switch to Saturdays going forward.

Session will kick off at the regular time 8pm UK time (GMT+1 atm).

An update to F2 (F2 V+) specifically made for V+ will be available in the coming days to allow budding mission makers to create new and exciting ways of inducing PTSD in us all. Watch this thread for the download page.

If you have any questions, or problems feel free to ask them here on on Skype.

Just a public service reminder

If you downloaded the V+ mod pack manually before April 10th you need to locate the superfluous 'oac_core.pbo' in the @FA_V+/addons folder and remove it.

This will resolve issues related to PMC factions wearing BDSM paraphernalia and the invisible buildings on Fallujah (plus several other minor fixes).

If you are a mission maker and made a V+ mission before the 10th contact either myself or Satire and we'll get you some oac_core fixing training sorted out :eng101:
