The mission is a heliborne assault as before. It starts to the Northeast of Shukurkalay at grid square 019040. Crew assignments remain the same as per orbat, with one weapons team and squad per Mi-8. Squad leads will maintain control over their respective weapons teams, with M1, M2, M3, M4 being assigned to ASL, BSL, CSL, JSL respectively.
Helicopters will leave in two flights, with Goose1, 2, 4 first and Goose 3, 5 second. 200 meters minimum separation from flights will be maintained at all times. I would like to see the helicopters in each individual flight in a tight formation, but safety and skill considerations may prevent this. Stay as low to the ground as possible in order to mask yourself from AA.

Waypoints are outlined on the approach map. After reaching Chaman, pivot to a southeast heading and wind your way through a saddle just to the west of the AA line. Package 1 will hit LZ SOKOL. Package 2 will hit LZ OPEL.
During this time, ROOK1 will establish an orbit point to the west of his strike area. Once infantry reaches the weapons free phase line, ROOK1 will start taking missions from the FAC.
Goose5 will provide support to the Charlie squad element to the south, and maintain separation from AA threats at all times.

Bravo and Juliet will conduct a coordinated assault on Chak Chak with A, C, and weapons teams providing supporting and suppressive fire. When Bravo and Juliet reach Chak Chak, Alpha and Charlie may begin moving in under cover of all weapons teams. Clearance and recovery of logistical material and intel may commence once the enemy threat has been neutralized.
- Helicopter pilots must be comfortable landing on, and taking off from, valley roads.
- All aircraft maintain separation from AA emplacements. Rook 1 is advised never to overfly the target area.
- Deputy command and FAC will be embedded with Charlie for this operation.
