A disturbing 13 professional idiots accompanied me on a voyage of magical discovery.

Tonight, we crept through the darkened woods and learned about the durability of Kamysh armour; helicoptered through the darkened plains and learned about the dangers of night blindness (and deafness); defended a town from rampaging CSAT and learned about the durability of Kamysh armour, and how to make map markers; and finally crept through a darkened city and learned about the dangers of things that fire .50 cals in the night.

You didn't see us play: Players are reminded that anti-tank weapons are for anti-tank specialists, except in extreme circumstances.

Remember to check out, promote, and contribute to the Party YouTube channel using this elegant and finely-crafted link.

You can review the missions we played tonight to improve your combat effectiveness score, using our R3 Mission Replay System. Remember, the Party is always watching! And so are your friends. From the grave. Where you put them. You monster.

If you would like to get some help with becoming an excellent leader :commissar: why not check out the Leadership Programme? This will let you get direct access to a host who will be happy* to guide you through commanding a mission, especially if you have a cruel and devious plan.

You may have noticed that some people have FA flags all over them. You may have thought "wow, what a cool guy! I want to be like them when I grow up!" Well, there's no need to grow up just yet. Instead, click on this link here and you too can have an FA flag of your own.

One last thing! If you would like to contribute to the server fund that allows FA to keep running sessions, you can PayPal your last grubby potato to server-fund@folkarps.com, or click here to use the Party's new and improved organ donation service.

Hello everyone! This was my first event with Folk ARPS and it was great! I was a bit groggy though, I had to get up at 0200 to make it. Here is my perspective of the missions we played!

Lost Sector: Charkia-Dorida

I was a lowly rifleman for this mission. A long moonlit stroll to the hills overlooking the mine was interrupted by some rather rude CSAT operators. The firefight in the forest was very intense. Especially when I was pinned behind rocks or when the attacking element got suppressed by an AI in a hut. Overall a really solid mission to introduce me to the organization of the group! The leadership was great in A1.

WA: Normalimnization

Really love cache hunt missions and the time limit imposed by this one was exciting. The last hurrah of NATO in that ruined building was a lot of fun to be a part of. I definitely overextended to try and engage the Qilin with the Gatling on it. Hope to play this again sometime. Everything was ran smoothly up until the end, all the leaders did a great job.

Red Dragon Rising

My personal favorite of the night. The scale and feel of it was so intense. I was a RAT and took out a Marid early on and then fell back to the town. Fighting alley to alley to try and cover the roads as CSAT pushed up more and more armor was great. The custom German units were a really nice touch as well. Vanni did a really great job of coordinating the defense.

Special Circumstances

Really enjoyed the concept of this mission. Running around with a silenced SMG and a license to kill was slick. I got made Alpha FTL for a while (until I was cut down by a bushlurker) and I hope it was an okay job for having been thrust into the position.

I will definitely be coming to future events. I look forward to playing more with the group! And hopefully make some missions for us all to play as well.
