Falcon BMS 4

Post by Gasman »

For any pilots out there who don't yet know, the latest update to Falcon 4 has been released. Check out

http://www.benchmarksims.org

This looks like a really great update, and is free. You just need the original Falcon 4 disc, or an .iso of it. :D

Actual BMS download. It's not on the BMS site itself

My server is now running a Falcon BMS campaign. Tigershark and I flew a mission on it tonight and it all seems in order. I'm going to leave the campaign running continuously and see what happens.

To connect you need Falcon BMS (obviously).
Go to comms and enter server IP of 213.5.178.115. Bandwidth should be 512. Not using IVC so disable both options.
Connect. Should say connection established. Hit OK.
Go to campaign and click online.
Select Server's Game. Commit online.
Enter password 'freedom' then OK.
Should see campaign map.
Pick a flight and wait for takeoff.

If you try it, please let me know how it goes!

Enjoy :)

Unfortunately FalconBMS is not that stable, and keeps crashing.

I will restart the server when I can, but it will only be up intermittently.
