Folk ARPS Rally 2.0

Post by Ciaran »

Hello everyone, it's time for the Folk ARPS Rally 2.0!

We'll be starting off with a 4 week run to get the hang of Dirt Rally 2.0, laid out in 4 one-week events, consisting of 2-3 stages each. It should be about 15 minutes of driving (not including retries!) (retries are banned and there's literally nothing I can do about it), but DR 2.0 is a bit more inconsistent with stage lengths. As usual, things will kick off with the slower and easier historic front wheel drive cars, moving onto quicker cars each week. Hardcore damage is on, as this is about on par with DR1's damage from what I can tell (though if this ends badly I'll turn it off next time). We will be running DLC content.

The first event will start started on Tuesday, 9th March at 1900 GMT. The league can be joined here and can then be accessed in game from Freeplay -> Racenet Clubs.

We'll be running another 4 week championship, this time entirely in H2 (RWD), so people can get used to one car rather than having to relearn how to drive every week. The format otherwise will remain the same, i.e. 1 location with ~3 stages to total ~15 minutes of driving per event.
This championship will be starting at 19:00 BST/20:00 CEST on Thursday 8th April.
